This is a fine example of the work of the Fattorini family.
A solid silver key wind pocket watch with solid silver chain, hook-links, t-bar and fob with rolled gold cartouche. 30 hour Swiss non-magnetic movement all in clean working condition.
Operating in England since Antonio Fattorini emigrated to England during the Napoleanic Wars. He set up business in the north where he married and with his sons John & Edward developed the family business. Soon there were three family run jewellers in the north and the family business continues today in Birmingham.
The company famously designed and supplied the FA Cup in 1910.
